Understanding long-stay policies
The regulations on maximum length of stay can vary by region. If your region allows stays longer than 30 nights, you can enable longer bookings at your property on the Extranet.
Here’s how:
- Log in to the Extranet
- Click Property, then select Policies
- Find the 30+ night stays (monthly stays) section and click Edit
- Indicate that you accept reservations for stays over 30 nights by clicking Yes
- Choose the maximum number of nights guests can stay from the drop-down menu
- Click Save to finalize
To encourage more guests to book longer stays, you can set up discounts through a Weekly or Monthly Rate Plan. Read this Solutions page to learn more about Long Stay Rate Plans.
If you use a connectivity interface, you can also apply limits for longer stays by setting up restrictions using the Room & Availability API (more).
