Disabling Pay On Arrival Feature

Hello Team,

I find booking.com giving my customers options to pay on arrival while that's against my policy. The reason I have set online payments to be cheaper than walk ins is because online booking creates convenience to my business. I do not want to deal with people who have done online bookings for payments again. But i still find customers pop in saying they have chosen to pay on arrival.

How can force PAY NOW feature for my property?

Please help

I am having the same problem, I have already set up the policies for taking payment in advance yet I still get people who have chosen to pay on arrival.

If you are still having this problem, I kindly advise you to contact our local support. You can do it from the "Inbox" tab in your extranet account -> "Booking.com messages".

From our experience, 'Hotel Collect payment' is 100% compulsory. Our local support confirmed this. If I am incorrect, please inform us.

Hi.. I have the same problem. I set up pre-authorization,pre-payment and everything but when the customer goes to the final page of the reservation i still have the option. Pay later (property will handle your prepayment). Basiccly i want booking to handle ALL the payments.

What will be the solution? Thanks

Note: If you’ve just recently become a Booking.com partner, there may be a temporary restriction on prepayments for your property. Please read this article for more detailed information.

We have been active on BdC for 4 years and we still aren't eligible...

 

Seeing the recent trend in fake + scam bookings + extremely high number of cancellations, why don't we get the option to:

- opt out of hotel collect payments;

- demand prepayment for last minute reservations (reservations made within the cancellation period)
