News Article - BdC layoff 2700 staff in Feb 2022 outsourcing support to Majorel

Just came across this and also discovered its been public info since at least Feb 11th.

That Glenn Fogel , ceo, has now layed off another 2700 staff.

and then as part of the re-organisation he is doing, they are outsourcing the support function to a specialist in the service industry - Majorel. 12 of the 14 Customer Service  departments across EMEA, APAC and Americas. Dated 11th Feb, foglel was cited saying only Amsterdam, NL an Manchester GB exempt for now.

So depending on how you read that news its both a good and bad thing.

Why Bad ?

well it will likely add t othe back log of verification and 10 day audit tasks until the new company for partner & customer service , gets up and running

Why good ?

I see it as a good cleaning of the house, to then having a dedicated service more streamlined ,and while it may take time to get up to speed, it potentially improves turnaround times, and quicker on-boarding, and quicker quality audits. Of course time will tell and like any  T.O.M. Transformational Organisation Management project, will take time , teething issues etc.

I myself have experienced 2 such T.O.M. transformations in large companies, even bigger than BdC Holdings.
