Our first booking

Hello, 

We just got our first booking and we're not clear on some things: 

1. How do we get guest to agree to our list of house rules before check-in? Preferably not in person 

2. What if the guest doesn't reply to messages? 

3. Do we have to collect the damage deposit in person or can we do it online (like via stripe)? 

4.  Someone booked, but they said a friend is going to check in? How to I vet their friend? 

5. Airbnb, VRBO, etc offer damage protection and insurance. $350 deposit isn't enough to cover a major loss like a couch. Does booking.com offer any protection? If not how can I get insurance on my own above our homeowners to protect us?

  1. define them in the New Reservation template
  2. add a time limit into NEW Reservation for voiding,
  3. you can do it any way you want, just define the process in New Reservation template, along with time limit so you ca nvoid cancel the reservation when they fail to comply.
  4. Simply tell them to send in advance of arrival date , i.e. within 48 hours of booking that all guest photoID must be submitted , either via the message system or something like WhatsApp/signal etc.
  5. nope no such thing, you get your own insurance normally.

  5. Now choose Other

  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
