Mobile rate

Capture the fastest-growing segment of bookers

In 2018, Booking.com’s mobile bookings exceeded those made on the desktop site for the first time, meaning over 50% of all accommodation reservations were made on mobile devices. By activating a mobile rate for your property, you can tap into this valuable, fast-growing market.

All you have to do is offer an exclusive discount of at least 10% to mobile users. After setting one up, a special badge will appear next to your property in search results and on your property page. This strengthens your visibility, and can improve your conversion rate among mobile bookers.

How does your business benefit from a mobile rate?

Attract more bookings

Offering a mobile rate drives more potential guests to your property page.

Stand out in searches

A special badge will appear next to your property in search results and on your property page.

Better price, better reviews, better ranking

Two-thirds of mobile bookings are made by millennials, who write more reviews than any other traveler group. Attracting them can positively impact your overall ranking on Booking.com.

How mobile rates work

  • Mobile rates are only visible to guests using the Booking.com app or mobile browsers.

  • A discount of at least 10% is recommended

  • Mobile rates apply to all your rooms and rate plans. The discount stacks on top of Genius discounts as well as any other promotions you’ve set up. However, it doesn’t get added to Country Rates or Deal of the Day.

  • You can pick 30 days each calendar year to deactivate mobile rates.
