Absolutely agree with you Susan. Booking is assuming that they employ the hosts as the slaves rather than the Partners in business. It is a disgrace the way Booking operates, highly unprofessional and in harassing manner.
I cannot believe that we must not only provide the best and ready property, but also deal with all the *** presented and unchecked by Booking.com.
People, list your properties on Airbnb! This is a very reliable and proper service. I do not even start thinking about the banks and credit cards issues, Airbnb does it all seamlessly on mine behalf. This is what they charge their fee for. I recon Booking.com is a sophisticated fraud scheme.
Unfortunately, Booking.com does not even offer me any payment options except Cash Only. I cannot unlock the unpaid booking, I have no means of taking a deposit, and now they do not want to even help with collecting the due fees...
I am a Super-host on Airbnb for years, but I find it almost impossible to work on Booking.com. They literally work against you as property owner.
I see Booking.com did not even try to reply to your post... I also have very bad experience with Booking.com. I am a Super-host at Airbnb for years with a score of 5 out of 5, but I am not getting anywhere with Booking.com. Frustration after frustration. Last time they refused to issue a large reservation cancellation invoice to a guest on my behalf and blocked my "payment reminder" messages to the guest when I was trying to recover my cancellation fee by myself.
I really get an impression that this is some sort of fraud venture.
The more experience I have with Booking.com, the more I suspect that this organisation is engaged in criminal activity. They change the rules of engagement as they go. The property, the problems and the hard work are all yours, the fees are theirs. Booking refused to help me with raising an invoice for the booking cancellation fee. They do not care that I lost a month of income holding up the property for their failed guest for 3 weeks.
