They don’t vet the guests and if you’re unfortunate enough to be new to the platform they won’t give you the customers credit card details, we’ve had no shows, damages and theft and no way of recouping anything.
I’m with you Josh, it’s just the tip of the iceberg, this is by far the worst platform on so many levels, arduous and you can’t do anything simply. I’m amazed they get away with it but it seems they pump all their money into marketing as the frustrating thing is that we’re getting more bookings from this platform than most others. In all my experiences so far it’s a case of just suck it up!
I’m not sure if you’ve had the same issues when it comes to getting set up to just get peoples credit cards, that’s been a whole new issue and debacle for us, we’ve had non payments, damages and theft and they don’t care, nothing they do, but still take their massive commissions, terrible platform for hosts.

Any updates on this? It is terrible that we can't communicate with someone who is trying to book, or even make an enquiry, this should be treated as a matter of urgency!!
