What you're looking for is a Virtual Terminal. Many companies can provide this. Try WorldPay for a start, but compare 3 before you decide. Also, they will drop their fees in a bid to match the competition

I phone the customer directly. My payment policy is that I take 1 days payment as deposit immediately, then the balance 6 weeks before. In all my bookings (10 or so) I have never seen a cvc code. I spent a lot of time on the phone with B.com trying to resolve this. they told me that it was a glitch at their end. At the time they would not let me take prepayment as I was new. Now I can and request a deposit on booking. I phone to take the deposit, so I get the card details that way.
