YES! I have 4 properties listed and everything was going fine with 3 of the 4. After I got my first booking on the 4th I didn't receive payment. I contacted booking and told they were looking into it and then to call customer support which I did and was told it would be coming. It never did. Meanwhile Im in high season and get 2 more bookings. Not paid for these either but assumed would be coming soon. I get a 4th last minute booking I didn't know about until guest called for door code. I quickly checked my calendar and saw it blocked so gave her the code. After this I checked my email and see the email from booking saying no credit card details given and payment to be arranged at property. I didn't understand this so called booking and told I had to collect. I called guest who said she had paid booking. After many calls back and forth and putting booking on 1 phone and guest on another she was told her card was only preauthorized, not charged and she needed to pay me cash. She did not have enough so I agreed to accept what she had.
I asked booking what was going on as I never collect from guests. They said I didnt meet the criteria for them to collect but could not tell me what that criteria was. Obviously, that was what happened with my 3 other reservations. They told me to contact those guests and try to get them to send the money. 1 out of the 3 responded and she too thought she had paidI want to delete this property but unable to due to outstanding invoices they are billing me for on the reservations I was never paid for.
To add salt on the wound this last guest turned out to be a druggy and stole $2000.00 worth of my things.

What do u do when guests have "family" who might be spending some nights? I charge extra over 2, sleeps 8.
