She looks very sweet and cuddly ! That's great you adopted her. Was she a rescue ?
100 % Cancellation rate ?? that's a huge loss. Maybe during your slow time add a no refund cancellation policy ? Hope things pick back up for you :) :) Our Winter season for the most part was pretty slow. Not much to do in the winter here accept ski..We got by but not what I was expecting. We are only about a mile from a popular ski area, and the winter was pretty cold but not as snowy as years past. But now it has picked back up considerably... so far for the next couple of months, more on the weekends so far though.
I have missed everyone the past few months. Glad to be back on here. I do not find a lot of conversations going on am I missing something... The forum page looks different lol.
Hope you are well ! Good luck
Bye for now

Land House Deva ~ That is a great question. I would too love to hang something like that in our reception area. I believe it would be great for guests to see this.

Yes Michael she was not nice at all, complained about everything.
M.. pets are wonderful, we have many great pets that come here.. love them !! However, responsible she definitely was not.
Haven't baked the kourambiedes yet, have to go to the store to get the ingredients. I cannot wait to make them. I will post a photo when I do make them :) I have told some of my friends that I am making these this year, they cannot wait to try them.
Happy Birthday to your granddaughter ! That's a great idea using the cookie cutters for the sandwiches.
Holidays are a wonderful time to get together. A lot has happened with the family this year.. wonderful things actually. So much to celebrate on New Years Eve.
Have a wonderful night (day) ! Closing for the night.
We are a Motel.. have only certain rooms that are Pet (Dog only) Friendly due to other guests having allergies. We charge $10 per stay per dog (2 small max or 1 medium/larger)
We have strict rules and restrictions Not allowed on beds at all. Although once guest has checked out we wash all bedding covers to be sure of no fleas or dog hair, dirt, ect.. Dogs are NOT allowed to be left alone while guests are out and about. We cannot take care of them for you. We put this in place when a guest said it was a small dog when she booked, well the guest left the dog in the room which by the way was not small by any means. Well, the dog barked and barked, when we attempted to enter the room we could not. When the guest came back after not being able to reach them for some time, we went into the room and noticed the damage done and he chewed part of the window sill to get out of the room. At that point we almost became not pet friendly. Instead we put the restriction in place. It is posted in the office as well.
Now I have a question as well pertaining to this... Although it specifically states on BDC guest must contact property if bringing pet. It also says if availability.. a lot of the guests do not tell us and hide the dogs in the car and park their car in the parking lot so we cannot see the dog. When the housekeeper goes in the next day we then find out there is a dog or was. Or I would see the guest walking the dog and ask them to please come to the office, they then say they did not see where this is posted on BDC. We then charge them. Now I had a guest cancel because she booked a room recently with a king. She had called me for another reason, but asked me if there was definitely a king bed n the room because she needed to make sure the dog would fit on the bed with her and her husband and who would be walking the dog ????? I told her to please read the pet rules and restrictions and then also explained them to her. She said "Well what am I supposed to do with him while we are gone. He always sleeps with us. I had said again, you must bring the dog with you while out and about and not allowed on the beds. I told her why we cannot allow this. I also suggested that she bring the dog to a Doggie B&B (we have one around the corner from us which is great). She said I was ridiculous and very cold hearted.. hum
