I contacted B.C. and they told me as long as I don't do anything nothing will change and can carry on as usual. Am still unsure as to what "it" is but not worried that my listing will be suddenly taken off the site!
Lo into your Extranet, click on "Rates and availability," then "Calendar," after calendar comes up click on "Standard rate" (Will be on the left) then click on "Edit basic price" can change prices there - good luck.
On your EXTRANET dashboard click on FINANCES then INVOICES - top left should show you a "Pay invoices online" button - that is what I have but if you have opted for a different payment system it will be different (?)

Just close open dates on your calendar. You shouldn't be getting charged for people that didn't stay - contact Booking.Com accounts section.

I pay through my credit card - all done on the B.C. platform. - Do you have a credit card?
They will send you an invoice at the end of the month
