@Joey it blocks the guests to rebook to our property. Not really sure about another BDC property.
Unfortunately I don't think you can get any refund if you are not processing the payment yourself. You can contact or message your account manager (Click "inbox" ---> ""Booking.com messages") You will find the name and contact number for your local account manager on the right hand side of the page.
Please report pax also by clicking pax booking then on the right hand side bar you will see "report guest misconduct" button. Click it and just report it. While it may not refund you the money, it will block pax to book into your place again and also it will help other hostels as it will be in BDC database (I hope so). BDC will waive their commission fee for this booking.
Hope it helps.
Regret that you might keep having this problem as clearly since 2015, Visa International clearly described the requirement of having tickbox and it needs to be ticked by guest. I attached the printscreen of the manual so unless BDC put the tick box then the problem can be solved. Unfortunately also this flaw has been highlighted in many secret tips and tricks for friendly fraud specifically to target BDC hosts.
With new Visa International chargeback new system applied in April 2018, chargeback will be automatically done when customer can just printscreen the page of BDC proofing that BDC does not have tick box.
Good luck to you all.
The GDPR (general data protection regulation) is new legislation that aims to give citizens more control over their personal data. It will impact existing businesses across the EU and even worldwide, as any companies holding or processing EU data will still need to comply. The GDPR was adopted in May 2016 but the enforcement deadline is the 25th of May 2018 so there’s still time for everyone in the hospitality sector to get to work upgrading their data protection process. It is vital that appropriate resources are made available in order to effect the necessary changes. Staff should be trained in GDPR to maintain compliance and all businesses that accept credit card payments should already be compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Booking.com meanwhile still has a very olddated system and if you notice that actually it is not compliant at all with PCI DSS.

Exranet is based on username and password so it does not go thru emails. Any of you can just open the extanet and fill out the necessary username and password. You can download app "Pulse" as well thru your smartphones.
Please put your contact details so I can contact you.
You need to modify the check out date of the guests once they checked out early. The button is on the right side of the booking of your customer on extranet as otherwise booking.com will charge the full amount.
