No C L Lodge, Booking.com can't make you accept guests for free or force you to give them breakfast. ....you need to check your booking terms and conditions and update them accordingly.
A property that we stay at has a notice on the door to the effect that if you are a BDC customer, We sent you an email a few days ago, please check your email for the door codes. Any problems please phone......
Do not cancel the reservation. You have done what you can to deter the guest. I would not add a suction cup handle....they don't always work ! Nor add any short term.facilites... my mother is a wheelchair user, so I speak from experience.
The problem with accepting the baby is your other guests! Our guests book with us because there are no children. There is no way we could allow a Guest to stay with a child as we would risk getting into trouble with UK Trading Standards.
Ahh..I see. I don't think you can do that via the Extranet. However I can see how useful it would be if one could. Give BDc a call, maybe they can do something from their end.
Our reservations are on a non refundable basis, so the rooms can be charged when the booking is first received, even with VCC.
However I object to BDC earning more money from me than necessary, so have turned off the VCC payment method.

It's potential guests holding available rooms whilst they weigh up their options.
