Ok, and?
Dear Mary,
Whenever I see their reply "There is nothing more you need to do", I always cringe.
That means that your case has been shoved into a very deep abyss of a cabinet. Therefore, ignored forever, they just don't want to deal with it.
BDC support and relationship to hoteliers has become absolutely horrific. I honestly think that it's time that they become less relevant in the market. Their dominant behavior is just bad for everyone.
Cheers,
Zsolt - www.thuild.com
Dear Rachel,
Per the BDC cancellation policy that you have for their booking, you need to charge them accordingly.
Therefore if it's 100% of their stay, charge that.
You will have to pay commission to BDC for the cancellation anyway.
Dear Sarah,
Wrong place to write this. Message BDC, not the forum :)
What do you mean you have you to pay 16.3%? For what?
How is that related to a POS?
Dear Ann,
If it's a Virtual Card, you need to charge that.
Contact BDC. But you will have to pay for the guest's reservation. Or for all the reservations that you still have for the future.
Dear Aziz,
You wrote that yourself:
I have a question about the Credit card exceptions policy. Yes, this is a good policies, which allows the local guest to book without providing a credit card details when its last minute reservation. I have no issue with that.
I say, don't use it anymore because it will not work the way you want it to in relation with the NRF rate.
