Hello, We are working with booking for about 6 yrs. now. This 2018 since starting the sales are the worst. We already, reduce prices lower than we sold in 2014. So very much lower than the competition. Increase the service, Increase the comission to Bookingcom, The question is: Why the sales are so low? Why I don't see from Bookingcom the same push of publicity like the competition is doing on TV? It is because the World socker game?. Every body is in Rusia?. Some ideas to increase the sales?
Very much if we sell the name of the brand, to transfer the account with the OTA's , you just change the name of the account and owner.
I am selling our hotel in Costa Rica and the idea it is transfer the bussines and the name of the brand, Took me more than 6 yrs. with bookingcom to reach our reputation up to 9.0. So must be easy to transfer all this experiences to the buyer.
people like to cheet with credit cards and must of them potential rule brakers. Booking charge at front and late it on you paid us.

Reception, I had reported right away the card it is invalid ans sent a message to inbox, but the system don let me cancel until tomorrow.
Only one room left to sale on high season, The reservation with an invalid card until tomorrow, and will be late. The cancellation on invalid card, must be inmediatly and no to lost the oportunity to sell the room. This is rally bad
to bluemoonbeachstay, dear sir after few years, of working with them I find that , we paid their comisions but they enjoy to post bad reviews of some mad people who pay $40 per night booking ask add an offer of 10 or more percents to make atractive, and the guest wants everything serve on silvertrays. We have other companies working and they read clear what it is published on the web, what we offer, what it is the check in and out times, they don't run away with out paying, the credit cards always are valid. Really do not understand why booking.com target this type of persons. I don't understand why booking.com makes so many stupid questions to the guest at the check out and brings the posibility to post stupid bad reviews. Even when we pay comision and follows their rules.
Wilma, I totally agree with you, 24 hrs. it is a long time. We are working with the competition and they provide the card # and if is not valid, you can cancel the reservation any time right in the moment with a click, mentioning to the guest to redo a new reservation with a new number. We are talking about charges of $40. $70 if a guest can't afford this much, isn't good as a guest. We try to lower prices cause the sales is going harder every year, but every time we had lower prices ,we catch "lower quality of people" it is a risk.
