It may vary depending on country/location but try going to the Property tab, to Policies, and then scroll down until you see Genius Freebies and click the 'edit' box. I don't see an option to give discounted rates there but the options seem to vary user to user. But maybe the discounted rate reservations have nothing to do with Genius but something to do with your pricing settings?? Good luck; it's a steep learning curve and I'm still pedaling hard...
I agree with Houda's suggestion of adding a one time cleaning fee. You can always cancel it for longer stays, and it doesn't inflate your advertised nightly rate. Maybe make it a little less than what you were thinking of charging since you can be spreading out that income onto the multiple night guests also. I found the cleaning fee option under Policies / Additional fees and charges
To Reservations: I was just notified I was part of the risk free reservations program so am researching about it. Your concern about double booking is legitimate, but on another thread of this subject a property owner said that Booking kept the dates blocked as they were searching to fill them. Not sure who is correct, or maybe it depends on individual policy settings or even your location? I guess I'll find out once the first risk free cancellation happens and will share my experience.
Someone else mentioned on a different thread that they experienced an unhappy guest that Booking had booked to fill a risk-free reservation cancellation - that concerns me too, that they're so desperate to fill the room so that they don't have to pay me for the cancellation that they book people looking for something completely different than what I offer. Then I look like the bad guy and get a bad review.
Resolved! Customer support took care of it and said it was a problem with the system but honestly they may have been being too kind! I noticed that under payment policies it now says that I accept credit cards and I very possibly had changed that to accepting only cash - though I'm not sure. So it was either a user error (me) or a system error (Booking). I'll still have to handle collecting payment from those recent reservations unfortunately, but going forward new reservations should be back on the Payment by Booking system (but I haven't received any new bookings to confirm this)

You could use a picture of you and your spouse/partner in your description and leave it up to the traveller to put two and two together and if they're paranoid and are concerned that you're a 'couple' then they'll move on. Other gay folks will probably assume you're a 'couple' and gay-friendly, just as straight couples would assume a mixed gender couple were married/partnered.
Although 99% (or more) of traveller's don't care about their host's orientation it is important to know that where you're staying on a hard-earned vacation the hosts aren't going to be critical. It is a valid point regardless of how accepting one perceives the world around them to be.

Thank you for the link. But elsewhere it says payment is made every three days. I'm signed up where booking collects all my payments, I think it's a different program than the link you sent
