Am Christine from Kampala- Uganda. Am a host but actually i have never hosted via this website. I have had invoices sent to me simply because someone inquired and selected days that are convienient for them. Ofcourse several times booking has waived but there is this particular invoice that was once waived and later returned and commission is being demanded!!! I sent a message that the person didnt show up though late thinking that the person might appear atleast before the days but after the days erapsed i knew the guest will never arrive. So i marked no show. Emails have been coming to my inbox threatening to be suspened!!!
After all the communications about the guests not arriving it's falling in dead ears. I fear for being suspened over a debt that i did not receive.
Is there any machanism where booking.com could keep trace the reservations with guests and prove our listings? What can be done in such an instance where am asked to clear commission or else i'll be suspened until when all the monies are paid. Honestly i did not receive the guests! Please help
