"Match your chosen rate" is the setting you require. If your normal rate e.g. 2 days minimum stay in June but 7 days in July & August, then the promo will follow the same setting.
It also allows you choose a different min. stay if you wish, except for joining a BDC campaign where it always matches your standard min. stay.
Are you sure your email is required for login?
For most people it's your BDC account number and then your password.

I'm amazed by the reactions from hotels you've stayed at, good grief!
I value comments from other hoteliers more highly than any other, I have implemented several points that have been made and been very thankful for them. Some comments have not been appropriate to us but still gratefully received. You can also look up their hotel to see if they are actually honest in their claims too!
Never too new or seasoned to learn, one of the worst things we can do is be stuck in our ways, especially in an industry that is constantly and rapidly changing.
I remember my very first job within a government ministry, I suggested a better to do something and had the same old reply "but we've always done it this way..", I would respond "soooooo?"......
A little bit of house keeping by yourself would avoid the situation
Simply close out availability and remove the rates, in fact anything you can delete just do so, pictures etc. The inactive and unbookable listing will not last very long, it will firstly drop to the bottom of the search list and later be deleted. ( I assume the new owner does not want the listing either )
I've never seen any reason given by BDC for a customer cancellation unless the ex-guests have been in contact directly to inform me.
I guess it wouldn't help much anyway as most would hype up a reason for the sake of free cancelation.
e.g. real reason, had booked several hotels for the same stay and finally chose one.......given reason, family tragedy.

Is that a local office or a national one?
If the former, try the latter. We have the same experience, local office is completely useless and proud of it!
The national office are leaps and bounds better.
