I am afraid I gave up with Booking.com a year ago. They did eventually contra off what they owed me to what I owed them so that we are at nil but how can you work with an organisation that will not communicate with you. Their AI driven automated responses to anything you write in the communication system is soul destroying. Unfortunately if you never get an answer to the question you are raising and your account manager says "it is a billing issue, sorry can't help you" and "no you cannot contact them". No option but to focus efforts on Expedia where they do have a telephone support team.
the issue here is that the finance team do not talk to the public and the account manager says it is a finance issue. No response to our messages (except the automated responses) and calls which are not returned or end up with "sorry this is a finance issue". We have been trying since May. Booking.com is a business with serious customer service issues if they treat their partners so poorly.
Good luck with this - we have been trying to talk to finance at booking.com since May - the only way to get a response is to stop paying their invoices but be warned - even this only gets automated responses and they shut you off. We live in hope that eventually a real human being may look into our issue as we now owe them more than they owe us and perhaps they will try and solve it. What is beyond belief is that partners are their lifeblood but they make NO effort to talk to us, As for account manager's "sorry that is a finance issue! " - what a waste of a salary
