Thank you Sergei, but this is nothing to do with the commission on the reservations, this is the cost of the bank fees for the money transfer, now after Brexit all transactions coming to Europe from British banks have a cost, in our case 21€ per transaction. Now all banks in UK are considering outside from European market so that will be charged to our accounts by our own banks. BdC need to fix this situation changing the bank from where they make their payment to the European partners.
Hi, actually is not BdC, this is just because after Brexit, European Banks applied different type of bank fees as this is now involve a transaction with a bank outside the European community.
BdC knows already about it and are working to give a solution. Very disappointing that no one's in BdC has not foreseen this situation, difficult to understand being a multinational company.
As we receive weekly payment for 2 properties we'd been charge already for 84€ for bank fees. ?
Hopefully we will have a solution and compensation for this BdC fault.
Hi everyone, same from here, I'm in Canary Islands, Spain and since January 1st our bank consider that the money transfer coming from BdC, actually they use a GB bank, coming from outside the European Community so we been charged with 21€ for every payment as bank fees, actually we received our payments weekly for 2 properties so up to now we lost already 84€.
Ben able to talk with partnerhelp and they confirm the global issue and they are looking for a solution but my question is, everybody knows that Brexit is gonna happen and the relationship between banks are going to change, so no one in BdC realize it?
It seems very easy solution, payment to European properties from an European bank and payments to British properties from a GB bank, easy no?
Hope BdC find a solution urgently and hopefully we can have our money back as it wasn't our fault.
Well, I particularly already work with the other platforms, we are even Superhost on Airbnb but we cannot deny that BDC moves a lot of reservations and at the moment they are a monster in the holiday business, that's why I currently think they have left the partners abandoned and they can apply the commissions they want and those who disagree, little or nothing can do.
I myself have an unpaid bill since August and nobody explains anything to me or respond to emails or calls, this is simply embarrassing, and says a lot about a company like BDC.
if it was a refundable reservation BDC dont have right to commision for that, if it was the otherway around, a NON Refundable reservation then you get your payment and BDC their commision.
Well, I´m thinking cancel my "payments trough BDC" and start to charge the guests directly. There are several options in the market to get one of those devices or talk with your bank to see if they have more information.
