This product apparently gives out time limited pin codes even with no connection to internet. However, the integration with airbnb is unclear at the time.
The problem of not being able to open a door is the essence of locking it. Typically this problem arises with all locks. Code locks become inexact, taking an hour to fumble open, keys can be displaced. A lock with alternative pin codes or online access for the owner gives a second chance to open without the manager being near the door. Naturally, more people are annoyed and remember standing in the rain if the lock was a kind they never saw before.
I am just worried that as soon as I spend too much on a lock system booking will endorse the competitor adding 10 features I need. Also I am looking for a system reducing human error. There is a problem with questions arising 247, better if they are all answered by booking as you book.
I agree unless booking.com has connection to certain brands. It would be pure luxury to have an affiliated lock, like airbnb, where the pin is handed out in the booking process, and the pin stops working when the booking ends. Also having locks online in addition would keep me informed if a person is in the room.
