I think working with Booking.com might be too complicated
We totally understand if you’re worried that working with us might be too complicated. You may feel that our system is too complex – and it’s true that, sometimes, it can seem that way. But the good news is, it’s actually designed to be as simple or complicated as you want it to be.
You’ll always have access to reporting information and data if you want to dive into the details, but the basics are the basics – and they should be relatively simple to master.
Let’s break it down:
Create your own property profile. Create your room types, mark the facilities and add your best pictures to entice guests to stay with you.
Decide your availability. This is key to getting bookings – after all, guests can’t book something that isn’t on sale. The more availability, the more guests you’ll be able to attract. As soon as you add availability, guests will be able to see and book your property on Booking.com.
Receive automatic confirmations. Once you get a booking, you don’t need to worry about logging in to the system to confirm it. You’ll automatically get an email confirmation will all the guest’s details.
Keep track with an automatically-updated calendar. Bear in mind that if you’re selling the same room/property on other websites, you’ll need to update their calendars when you get a Booking.com reservation – and vice versa. This is where a channel manager can help you avoid overbookings.
That’s it! All that’s left is to welcome your guest and give them an awesome experience.
Wondering about how payment works? How and when you take payment depends on where you’re located, and what payment policy you choose. For more information, check out our FAQs on payments.
