I was basing my location comment on a conversation we had with our booking.com rep who had specifically mentioned that people were upset with getting poor location scores and that bringing down their overall when it was the guests fault for not looking at the location when they booked (this was more to do with city hotels I believed)
As per my post, the 1-10 scoring system is awesome and I love it - the overall rating score is where the issue is.
I have the same issue, same deadline, the first email didnt have the link to click then the second did. upon clicking the link it said that all of the information was verified.

for me the email was from no-reply@partner.booking.com
with the link to https://account.booking.com/sign-in?op_token=xxxx
upon clicking the link it goes to the correctly certified webpage so it seems legit. Perhaps it is a bug in their system?

Not sure what to make of this
